Tributes paid to 12-year-old Leo Ross stabbed to death in Birmingham

The 12-year-old boy who died after being stabbed in Birmingham yesterday has been named as Leo Ross.

Relatives and teachers have described him as “funny, kind and bright”. He was attacked as he walked home just after 3pm near a park in Hall Green.

A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of his murder and an assault on an elderly woman two days earlier.
