Join the Action in Neon Inferno

Retroware and Zenovia Interactive have teamed up to bring Neon Inferno to all platforms in Q3 2025. It will be coming out on PC; however, there is no confirmation for other platforms yet. For more information, you can check out the game’s official website. Also, take a look at the official announcement trailer below.

Neon Inferno draws its inspiration from classics like Contra and Wild Guns, delivering action across both the foreground and background. Set in a dystopian New York City of 2055, each level is filled with relentless enemies and powerful bosses. This creates an intense, fast-paced battle through a world on the brink of chaos.

The game throws players into the heart of a brutal power struggle. As Angelo or Mariana, they fight for a rising crime family determined to take control of a city. To make it worse, violence overwhelms this city, so there are dangers everywhere. With the corrupt NYPD and dangerous syndicates standing in their way, every battle brings them closer to dominance or defeat in a war that shows no mercy.

There is also a “Bullet Time” feature that gives players the ability to deflect certain projectiles and send them back at their chosen targets, whether they’re up close or in the distance. Players can also upgrade their equipment between missions, providing new ways to customize gameplay, while multiple difficulty settings and an Arcade Mode offer fresh challenges. With the option to play solo or in a two-player co-op, every mission can be tackled in a way that suits each player’s style.
