Marc-Andre Fleury ties Martin Brodeur for most 10-win seasons in NHL history

‘The Flower’ is still blossoming in Year 21.

The three-time Stanley Cup winner made 26 saves en route to the Wild’s 3-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche, officially cementing him once again in the record books.

Fleury is second on the NHL’s all-time wins list with 571 — trailing only Brodeur’s 691 — after passing Patrick Roy last season.

The 40-year-old Fleury is 4-1-0 in his last five games while boasting a 2.15 goals-against average and a .932 save percentage in that span.

In April Fleury announced his return to the Wild, saying this would be his final season.

The Penguins selected Fleury first overall in the 2003 NHL Draft and he was part of three Stanley Cup runs in his 13 seasons in Pittsburgh. In 2017, the Golden Knights selected Fleury in the expansion draft. He helped Vegas reach the Stanley Cup Final in the club’s inaugural season and won his only Vezina Trophy while a member of the team.

After a brief stint in Chicago Fleury was moved to the Wild at the 2022 trade deadline and is now in his fourth season in Minnesota.

Fleury is now on track to move into second all-time for games played among goalies, currently only trailing Roberto Luongo by three contests.
