15 members get GHMC poll notices

Hyderabad: The GHMC on Tuesday issued an poll notice to elect 15 members to the standing committee for 2025 on February 25. The 150-member corporation has 146 corporators, two having been elected to the Assembly and the other two having passed away.

Nominations can be filed from February 10 to 17, between 11 am and 3 pm excluding February 16 (Sunday). The list will be published after 3 pm on February 17, followed by scrutiny the next day. The final list of nominations will be released on February 18, and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is before 3 pm on February 21.

Polling will be held on February 25 from 10 am to 3 pm at the GHMC headquarters. Counting of votes will commence after 3 pm. Each voter will be given 15 votes, equal to the number of standing committee positions to be filled.
